FAQ

Remove Animations FAQ

These answers explain what the tool does, what files it supports, and where the current limits are.

How do I remove all animations in PowerPoint at once?
PowerPoint has no single button for it: you delete animations slide by slide in the Animation Pane, or tick Show without animation in Set Up Slide Show, which only affects playback. This tool removes them from every slide of the file in one step.
Does it remove slide transitions too?
Only if you want it to. Transitions and animations are two separate checkboxes, and both are on by default.
What happens to videos and audio?
Slides where the animation timeline also controls video or audio playback keep their timeline, so the media still plays as before. The tool tells you how many slides were kept for that reason.
Is my presentation uploaded?
No. Everything happens in your browser, and your file never leaves your device.
Can I add new transitions afterwards?
Yes. Use the PowerPoint Transitions tool to give every slide one clean, consistent transition.
